A STUNNING snap of the Red Arrows in full flight has brought back fond memories of last month’s air show as a local teenager’s photograph has triumphed in The Journal’s Picture of the Week competition.
Sixteen-year-old Gareth Leer took to the show with his camera two weeks ago and this colourful action image of the much-loved flying team was singled out by our judging panel.
It was selected ahead of over 60 other impressive images, including a nutty squirrel, a royal visitor, a sumptuous sunset and a mass balloon release.
Gareth will be presented with his image in a 12in x 10in frame, mounted and inscribed, in a prize worth more than £60 from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft. The photo will also go forward to the next final of winning images.
