THIS stunning close up of a fly was taken by Yvonne Adamski when she was at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Park, in South Walsham, at the weekend.

And the image has led to her becoming the Picture of the Week winner.

Yvonne, of Holst Close, Lowestoft, said she was “really pleased to have won” and thought the insect was crafty to have evolved to look like a bee.

“I had never seen one before and Fairhaven is a beautiful place that we had visited for the first time. We were standing by the broad waiting for a boat trip when we noticed this unusual fly,” she added.

Yvonne will be presented with her image in a 12in x 10in frame, mounted and inscribed, in a prize worth more than £60 from Picture Studios, of London Road North, Lowestoft. The photo will also go forward to the next final of winning images.
